Imbolc, Imbolg, Candlemas or Brigid’s Day, is celebrated on the night of the 1st to the morning of the 2nd of February. This Sabbat celebrates the very beginning of spring, as the days start to become longer and Snowdrops and the first green shoots appear.

The word Imbolc means ‘in the belly or womb’ conveying the thought of Mother Earth starting to grow her seeds, producing life again after the winter.

The Celtic goddess Brigid or St. Brigid is honoured at Imbolc. She is associated with fertility and fire. She is known as the keeper of the sacred flame, the guardian of home and hearth.

Delivery to UK mainland takes 1 - 3 working days.

International orders take between 3 - 7 working days, although due to customs it may take up to 2 months to arrive. All international items now come Royal Mail tracked and signed.
